So I’ve been MIA yet again on the blog but for good reason! I’ve been working for the past few months now with the most amazing company, BRAIZEN, who has been designing my kick a$$ custom blog! I would HIGHLY recommend them if you’re looking for something custom, something that screams YOU! The whole process working with them has been flawless! I cannot say enough good things about them! Seriously, they’re that good!

This past March I decided I wanted to take my business to the next level. And in order to do that I needed to sit down & think about my brand, my work, how I do business, who I am as a photographer, what kinds of clients I really want, what things to I really want to shoot! I got in touch with a few companies & was told they couldn’t take me on as a new client until December 2011/January 2012! WHAT?!? Anyone who knows me knows I like instant gratification…when I want something I want it now, I rush ship everything to have it next day air! Yeah it’s that bad!

I was tired of the template look & wanted something totally custom to Still Frames! Too many times I go to other photogs blogs to look & a lot have the same theme or template…I didn’t want that anymore. I want to be unique, set myself apart from that & a custom blog was the only way to do that. And I didn’t want to purchase a template & have it customized again…that’s the easy, more affordable route! I wanted 100% completely custom!

Lo & behold I found BRAIZEN & will be forever grateful! When I looked through their portfolio I immediately felt a sense of “this is more my style, they’ll get what Still Frames is about!” The other companies I looked at I felt I only looked at them because they designed extremely well know photogs’ blogs…again, I want to be different! I talked with Tyrie first so he could get a sense of what I was looking for & they had an opening to start consulting in July & I took it!

Working with Ashley has been the best experience ever! We’ve joked how it’s like she crawled up inside my head & could see what I wanted for a site & designed it! She just “got it!” I seriously only had like 1 or 2 changes if that through this whole process, it’s been that close to PEFECT from the get go!

One of the very first things she did though before the site was even started…refreshed my logo & lettering! That was my one “it has to stay, it must stay” things..my logo…because it’s so custom to me…it is me, turned into an illustration! But the lettering was one that was a free font & EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHER uses it! So she did a custom font, totally Still Frames! And she refreshed the logo making her look more like a sticker or a window cling…I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

So here’s to the new blog & I cannot wait to show off all my 2011 clients! And since no post is fun without a pic here’s one of my 2 newest babies! They’re getting so big!
